Why has everyone Gone North? As soon as Jack is released from San Quentin, he heads for the hills believing he'll make big money growing pot. What he doesn't know is that aside from their illegal crops, sleepy Madrone County's citizens are decent, church-going professionals. Yet there is something strange going on here. The cop is crooked, older hippy women are oddly attracted to him and thousands of young people are gravitating toward the same tiny community in the mountains. Why has everyone Gone North?
